my lillte boy has just turned 3 months and for the past few days he has been crying lots which is very unusual. also he is drooling like mad and is chomping on his hands and anything he can get hold of. he's had a bit of a temperature which i gave him calpol for and that settled him a bit. i breastfeed and also express so his daddy can feed him occassionally but last night he screamed when the bottle was in his mouth but latched onto my breast straight away and was fine. is he teething and how long until his first tooth pops through.anyone breastfed when their LO has teeth as i want to continue as long as i can.

Can you pour concrete piers and wooden forms at the same time?

im building a 22x32 2 story house on 12 inch concrete piers and footings. it is in a cold climate so the footings are 36 inches or deeper. i was going to use 28 inch big foots but there was lots of free 2x10 and 2x8 lumber laying around so i built the 36 inch by 36 inch forms myself to save about $480. i have attached one sono tube so far and i have it braced in place by using scrap 2x6 across the top of the form with another row of 2x6 on top of the first row in the opposite direction so its braced all 4 ways. the sono tube is about flush with the top of the forms and it is in the middle. ive seen these forms at construction sites and it looks like everything is poured in one shot but im worried if i go ahead and do all 14 forms like that and then pour concrete it might start coming up over the top of the form instead of filling the tube up. is it possible to pour everything in one shot like that or should i nail half in plywood on top and then cut out a hole the same diameter as the sonotube and then pour it? i dont want to pour the footings and then the tubes because it creates a cold joint and id rather save the $500 bucks for plastic forms and use that money elsewhere in the project. if i should cover the top of the forms im assuming it would be a good idea to vibrate the concrete so it fills the whole box up? id really appreciate any info on this.

Can the brain shrink without it being alzheimer's?

My mum's been diagnosed with having post coritcal atrophy, however, she was also depressed which I know can shrink the brain due to stress etc. Anyway, she's cheered up a fair amount and has re-remembered all the things she'd forgotten, such as how to tie a shoe lace (without having to be taught, she just remembered again) etc. Is there any chance she doesn't have alzheimer's and that while her brain has shrunk, it is not degenerating? Why won't my dog eat?

Please help my 10 month old won't sleep?

My son won't every sleep! Every since he was born he's been getting up ever 4 hours for a bottle then wakes up at 5 and thats him up for the day! he rarely goes down without a bottle. He has a nap in the morning a small nap i the afternoon and i try to put him down bout 7-8pm which worked ok for a while (he would then wake up 11ish then 2ish then wake up at 5am) but now as soon as put him in his cot he wakes up screaming! he ghets himself into such a state he's almost sick and hits his head of his cot if i leave him to cry for too long! i dnt think i can cope with this for much longer :( i know its my fault as during the night when he wakes up he tends to sleep in in bed with me so hes prob just scared to sleep on his own. he is teething atm and i give him calpole but i've never seen a baby get into such a state. what can i do to help him?? i left him to cry last night and he cried for 2 hours! please help xx

Do not offer many times (3 - 4 times meal & 2- 3 times milk are enough in 24 hrs). If she refuses, leave her hungry, next time of offer she will take more bites then last time. Maintain a gap and do not offer anything between those gaps. It is hard for a mother but believe me; it will improve your baby's eating habits.

My son is almost 9 months, we are still waiting for teeth, and he breastfeeds first thing in the morning and before bed...otherwise he is on a bottle...So it sounds like you are trying to take her off the breast and off breast milk at the same time.....she is wanting momma! I assume you are pumping...trying offering one breast and then a bottle of breast milk AFTER she finishes the one breast. I would make it a routine...morning and night breastfeeding..and the daytime 1 breast and then a bottle of breast milk.....She has the bottles when you aren't there...when you are there just try easing her off the breast...not cold turkey...Best of luck

Exercising with a high demand baby?

Hi all! For a while now I've been trying to work out to some new work out DVD's that I bought. Our baby is 10 months old now so I don't have any excuses left for not losing the last 10lbs lol! Here's the problem: baby takes 2-3 naps in the day but he refuses to go to sleep unless I'm holding him or sleeping next to him in bed (we're working on this but it's harder than I thought it would be). my fiancee is at work all day and by the time he comes home, I'm just too tired to workout. I walk him in his stroller when the weather permits but now that it's getting hot, it happens less often. I also try to do things while I'm holding baby but he gets antsy quick and I'm definitely ready for some more hard core exercise lol! Any ideas on how to keep him satisfied during my workouts? He's a very demanding baby and only manages to keep himself occupied for about 20-25 minutes (an improvement from just a couple of months ago) and he's also teething so he's cranky about 24/7 lol! We have NO ONE to watch him and going to the gym is financially impossible right now. I was just wondering if any other mothers or fathers have any advice on how to incorporate an exercise routine in my day with a baby that gets mad at the drop of a hat! Thanks all!!!!!

My OH and I disagree about readily giving our 3 month old medication. I HATE seeing him in any discomfort but like to wait to see exactly what I think the source of the problem is. Why do some Christians seem to think they have been saved by just asking?

I'm not wanting any rude answers but i just want to know who told them they are saved. I know when i was growing up as a fundamentalist i was always hearing different people in discussions or at Church claiming they were saved . Even then i would ask how they knew and who told them, and would normally be treated like i was stupid for asking or told because the spirit has not spoken to me. I've actually known some of these claimed to be saved people get angry and fight or threaten others and some times over there interpretation of the bible against there's. Is this what Jesus did just went off and left us with no visible shepherd to correct our different beliefs?

My baby wont drink his bottle?

You may see women as a victim and you might be inadvertently looking for a women whom you can rescue. The problem with that is women dont really need or want rescuing when it comes to courtship. They want to be pursued. They want that HUNTER type male who appears strong enough to get what he needs, a good provider. But keep in mind that even while pursuing a woman, you must remain respectful or else, she's gone. Which brings up another point and actually a very common theme in men. You probably dont respect women entirely if you hold a view of them as a victim. Work on seeing them as equal counterparts. When the true respect starts to show then so will that social energy you need to land a hottie, imo. And dont worry about the blokes who can gab with any female at anytime. Some are really good at it and others just dont care about the girl and are lying to them. i have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM. mri showed a bulging disk that is pinching a nerve in my lower back. That gives me severe lower back pain along with hip pain and some leg/foot pain on my left side. I've been going to physical therapy & chiropractors for almost 3 years and, although it feels better for the moment, it has gotten substantially worse. That's sciatica. I just read last week that, if you have sciatica, physical therapy will only make it worse. google sciatica and sciatica excercise and try what it says. so far, my hip has been ok. i'm only 26 and can't believe i feel like an old woman!!!! good luck and feel better!

Teething or Sick...How do you tell?

My son is 7 months old and is teething, I can tell because he's chewing on everything and drooling like crazy! BUT about 14 days ago I got a cold virus (fever, runny nose, incredibly sore throat, body aches) which led to a stomach virus a few days later. I went to the doctor and found out it was a virus. About 10 days ago, my son got the same symptoms (runny nose, fever, fussy, not sleeping well), then it started with the diarrhea a few days later (just like mine). His fever was over 99 for about 5 days, but now it's gone. The diarrhea has almost cleared up, he just goes once or twice a day now, which isn't normal, but mine isn't normal yet either. But for the past 2 days he's been INCREDIBLY fussy! Every little thing makes him cry, you can't put him down without him crying and he's waking up 3 times a night, which he NEVER does. This kid is normally VERY happy and sleeps 12 hours a night and 4 hours during the day...and he's not even taking his daytime naps right now. Do you think he's still sick? Could it have turned into a sinus infection (even though he doesn't have a fever anymore) or do you think the virus isn't what's making him so incredibly fussy, it's the teething (even though I can't even see a white tip cutting thru yet). Any experienced parents help would be greatly appreciated :). Thank you

Yes, definitely wean him from that, because he will do so much better when he can go to sleep by himself without you having to be there to help him. The fact that he sleeps through the night is a good sign - kids almost always awaken at some point in the night, and the fact that he is not fussing then means he is putting himself back to sleep. So he CAN do it. You can wean in bits - it doesn't have to be all or nothing. I think it would be cruel and unusual to just plop him into the crib and let him CIO, although I really believe that CIO is necessary and useful in certain situations. You can do it in stages though - first reduce the amount of time, then have his dad do it, then give him a bottle with just water in it, then no bottle, then no rocking. Or however you want to stage it. At each change, be matter of fact, and do it for a few days so that it becomes a new normal, then move to the next phase. And make sure that the rest of your night routine, before the rocking/bottle segment, is absolutely consistent and soothing. It will be so liberating for you to be able to wish him good night and put him down without going through a big production to get him to sleep. Good luck.

Pressure treated lumber should have a water seal applied to it but there is a catch. Most of the treated lumber now has a waxy coating on it to slow down the drying from the treatment process. The current rule of thumb is to sprinkle a little water over the surface of the wood. If the water beads up and doesn't soak in right away do not apply anything to it yet. Normally it takes from 60-90 days for the wood to dry enough for the water to soak in. At that point apply the water seal to the wood. While modern AC2 treated lumber is safe for food contact you'll also have to make sure that the coating you apply is also safe. This same rule applies to any other treated lumber your trying to protect outdoors including decks.

How to make Birch trees for furniture?

I have to cut some trees from my property, mostly birch and thought that just turning into firewood, that I would create some furniture from them. I am planning on keeping them intact as much as posssible. Looking for ideas on how to properly dry them out and extract the sap from them. Should I seal the lumber with, say a urethane, schellac, and/or other preservative and if so, would I just seal/protect from where I cut them? Any other tips appreciated!

I think my baby might be sick?

she's 8months old an is usually a really good eater and sleeper, she' slept through the night from about 3months old. but for the last week she's been of her food (milk as well) and she goes to sleep and the wakes up like an hour later screaming, she only had about 7 hour last night an that was broken. also she's got really clingy and cry's till i pick her and won't have a nap in the day, she starts to fall asleep then starts to cry. shes teething again so it could be that, but she's never been close to this bad when shes teethed before. on top of this for about two days now she's had red puffy eyes a runny nose and keeps sneezing and holding her ears like they are bothering her. it's been really hot here just recently so i guess it could be that making her worse or hay-fever. i'm Absolutely knackered so she must be close to fatigue. i don't know if she needs the doctor because shes not dehydrated or being sick and shes not getting worse but shes not getting better either, like i said she had a really good sleep routine an a good eater and was always content to play on the matt. does any know what might of caused this and how i can help her. any advise would be much appreciated. thank you!

So, its the first 4th of July without my soldier, so I'm not really in the spirit to celebrate. However, I was invited to a celebration and don't want to disappoint people by missing it. Was I just bit by a venomous snake? Please help.?

So I was outside cleaning up some old lumber and I found what I thought was a small rat snake- which usually aren't very aggressive. I picked it up to take it away from the house and right before I let it go it gave me a casual bite on my left index finger. I sat it down on the ground and it slithered away. I looked at my hand and i had four tiny bite marks -top and bottom teeth I guess- on my finger. Its about an hour later and its tingling a little but no swelling or discoloration. But I am very worried if it was a copperhead- I live in Maryland and we do have them in the area. From what I remember of the snake it had the banding but did not have the triangular head- it was a very streamlined head. I couldn't see the shape of the pupils because the snake had cataracts. I dont want to go to the hospital for no reason. If anyone has advise about the symptoms of a venomous bite- other than don't pick up snakes- I would really appreciate it.

he hasn't eaten anything out of the ordinary, and he was acting fine this morning. he just started crying and acting anxious earlier this afternoon and hasn't stopped. I had to leave for a couple hours earlier to run some errands and he seemed to be calming down when I left, but when i got home and let him out of his crate he was even worse than before. now he won't stop crying at all, and he won't play with his toys or sit still or play with the other dogs. She's struggling with her teething and recently she's has a slightly higher than normal temperature and more dirtier diapers than usual. She's otherwise her usual self. Why Is My Baby All Of A Sudden Not Sleeping Good?

Hey. i need some advice. my 7 month old son has always been a pretty good sleeper up to this point. usually will wake up once a night or so for a bottle, and then go right back to bed. but in the last week he has been getting me up every 2 hours for a bottle. i feel like i'm constantly getting up. i'm so tired. why is he all of sudden changing his sleep habits. he does have a little bit of a cold, and is teething, so maybe that's why i dunno. some one scared me, and said that he might just be changing, and he might continue to keep getting up every couple hours until he's over the age of one. i really hope not. do you think i'm over worrying, do you think its probably just a phase, and he will go back to sleeping good soon?

kay so the other night i was in bed and i looked to the back of my closet and i saw little faces but didnt think much of it so i went to bed again and it felt like someone was laying beside me and touching my leg then i looked up and there was this sand feather like stuff in the air it didnt fall at all but i put my fingers through it it was the weirdest thing i did that for a little while then went to bed kinda thinking it was the adavan i took and if it was a ghost kinda cool, then i felt like someone was sucking on my nipple so i rolled over and ater i saw again so turned on light and sat on my bed a there was two different boys sitting in parts of my room plus the girl in closet but when i looked at them they dissapeared i tried to talk to them and say why are you hear can you talk and stuff like that i told them to leave but they wouldnt go so i got my grandma and she didnt believe me because they wouldnt show them selves to her.. she kept thinking i was crazy and we argued for hours they would do things behind her that i would notice and she couldnt see. or id see the air moving kinda fuzzy.. i was taking a shower and two faces showed up in the shower cutain so i rubbed them away and they came back. i was siitting on couch and the pillows looked like they wear lookin at me and had faces and when id walk around house other things looked like they were moving. my grandma took me to hospital and they let me go. when i got back one of my garabge bags with clothes in it had a face and eyes just looking at me so ignored it and tried to tell them but they didnt know what i was talking about and made me go have a nap i went under the blanket texing and i looked up and it was a face so i quickly flipped it off me. my mom took me later that day to our storage unit and i swear one came along i saw it in the back speaker and when she got out it went in the head part of the seat like little sands or something and it made a really detailed constantly moving picture it went through the air thing in the car and out side where i saw it moving around in the wind then it looked like it got bigger and turned into a grim reeper type thing very large and long but no one eles was around, then we left and it didnt come with us i dont think, ive never had anything like this happen before and its really annoying nobody believes me they think im phyco. my mom took me to the hospital again later and we were in this room and i was crying and looked the chair she was on behind looked like another grim reper type thing and white film started laying out beside it in the air and some bird like fluttering thing was in it but it was on the side so again nobody but me saw. laying in the hospial bed looking at the walls thousands of spirits came flying and me and around even going into my feet and body trying to lay themselves, all different shapes sizes and types. then when i got in the car i looked down at the dark floor and it looked like a hole bunch followed me when the light went on they were gone, i went to bed and turned off light and there was a whole bunch of creatures and spirits and ghosts in there some that didnt seem like they were too nice and my cat even caught something in his mouth and was eating it a it was kinda fluttering and stuff so i grabbed it from him after he bit some of it and went to show my dad and it went invisable, they all think im hillusinating but i know im not this is real and its scary, i just want them to go away there wrecki ng my life please help mee :( i dont know what to do and why they keep following me. even the hospital bed i was on had a material padding and it seemed like it had a face on the corner and likeee ugghhh

Changing a 15 month old from a crib to a bed?

My 15-month old son has recently had many mid-night waking . We have tried many methods of putting him back to sleep in his own bed but ultimate this is resulting in him joining us in our bed and lots of crappy sleep for us. We let him sleep in our bed for comfort due to illness or teething discomforts but don’t want this habit to take out as a norm. He is also VERY physically mature for his age and extremely mobile. My partner and I are toying with the idea of moving him to a big boy bed. We have that parent’s instinct that he is ready. On the other hand we don’t want to prematurely move him and cause MORE sleepless nights. Of all the reading I have done on the internet, most people are changing at 2 years or after, and occasionally at 18 months. I would love to hear some feedback from people that made this transition earlier than 18 months, how it went, tips, bedtime routines, anything!

Called them and they said there guy was on leave for 3 months. This was a bear the close to the size of a VW bug. What precautions should I and my family take. Should I warn the neighbors? Will it move on or will it stay in my neighborhood? Can I shoot at it? I had the windows and front door opened last night (screens in place). The bear came to the back door. The only reason that door was shut was because there is no screen. He could have been in my house! Is there an agency that would trap this bear and relocate?

7 Month Old Not Sleeping More Than 2 Hours A Night!!?

My son is now almost 7 months old. At around 4-5 months old he was sleeping a full 6-9 hours a night. I seem to remember that around that time, my son stopped eating as much too. Do you allow him to feed himself? I found that really helped because they start wanting to more independent at that age. Is he still drinking a lot of formula/breastmilk though? As long as he's getting a lot of milk, then he should be okay, especially if you are still breastfeeding him. Don't stop offering food though! Oh, another thing that we did was allow our little guy to play with some toys while he ate. He would play and we would put some food in his mouth as he concentrated on the toys lol. Meh, whatever works. He's now 13 months and he eats just fine again!

12 month old sleeping?

My daughter just turned one year old, and was sleeping from 8:30pm till about 8am in the morning straight without waking up. Well then we had 2 weeks full of fevers due to 2 different things and also she teethed all 4 molars in those 2 weeks. It was rough and I was up a lot with her during the night when she was sick and running the fevers. During those 2 weeks of sickness she lost 2 pounds so her pediatrician asked me to start middle of the night bottles again. Now that she is healthy she is waking up at 3:30 every morning for a bottle. Only a 4 ounce bottle so she must not be that thirsty. I have tried the cry it out method, also have tried giving her a sippy cup, and after a few nights of no sleep from my little one I gave in last night to the 4 ounce bottle and she drank it, and I put her into bed and she put herself back to sleep. She puts herself to sleep by herself, naptime and bedtime, and that middle of the night feeding she will drink the bottle and put herself back to sleep, but if she doesn't have the bottle she screams for hours. What do I do? Is it ok for a 4 ounce bottle in the middle of the night? How do I break her?

6 month & teething......?

Is your daughter formula fed? My son is and he would have green poops from time to time and I asked the doctor and he said it was from the iron in the formula and the reason why it was not consistently green was because it depended on how quickly his body processed the formula. Now that he is on solid foods it's pretty much normal "brown" poop..lol. If he gets green or yellowish poop now thats a sign to me he could be sick. Last time this happened he had ear and sinus infection. I at first thought it was teething but then he lost his appetite and I got worried. I hate to do this, but I am down to my last nerve and so is my husband. My 10 month old has been leaning her head to the side to rub it on her shoulder and kind of fussing, like you would do if your ear itched but your hands were full. Cant authorise ipad on itunes ipad is now empty!!?

I updated my ipad to firmware 4.3.3.. My partner came along and tried to jailbreak it using the program "spirit"... He assumed the jailbreaking didnt work for some reason.. My son just turned 15 months and always has been a terrible sleeper, when he was younger he was extremely gassy but now he is healthy and haven't had that issue in a long time. I stick to a steady schedule of waking up at 8 A.M., breakfast, snack, lunch at 12, then 2 hour nap, dinner, snack, bath time at 8:15, brush teeth, p.j.'s on and bottle before bed which he doesn't drink that much he drinks a quarter of it and knocks right out i place him in his crib on his back, night light left on. He is in bed the latest 9:30 asleep. He wakes up crying around 2 A.M. and im afraid my neighbors might hear him crying and my husband works very long hours 6 days a week so i take him out the crib and put him in bed with me but i don't want to continue to do this. Should i be giving him a bottle still before bed? Should i just put him in his crib and tell him its time for bedtime and let him cry to sleep? What should i do if he wakes up? He has most of his teeth already at least most have popped through the gums so i ddon'tthink its to much of teething any more he is just a little bit of a wwhinerand i give in to him alot twhich i shouldn't but i ask the doctor for advice and she doesn't give me that much at all. Nap time should i put him to bed in my arms and place him in his crib or should i just put him in the crib and tell him its nap time and let him cry it out. Usually he takes a nap on his little foam sofa that he has a bottle of milk and watches nick jr. and falls asleep on his own. I been trying to try different ways just don't know which way is best.

9 month old teething canine teeth?

My 9 month old daughter has her top 2 and bottom 2 teeth. She has had a fever that got as high as 103 at one point but has stayed about 101 for the majority of the past 2 days. i looked at her mouth and noiced her canine teeth are coming in but the ones that should be beside them aren't in yet. I read these teeth shouldnt come in until 18months. Has anyone else had this happen? She acts like she is in more pain with these 2 teeth than any others. any suggestions? will this make her baby teeth crooked since they are coming in out of "order"?

Why do so many doctors discredit fever as a symptom of teething?

Teething causes inflamation.. inflamation anywhere in the body can cause fevers.. i dont know why doctors dismiss it, probably because its not in a text book therefore they cant tell you its true.. not all doctors are so narrow minded.. just most of them! most will also tell you that Baltic amber teething necklaces dont work, but mothers themselves will tell you that on most children they do provide some relief.. Parents know their children best, end of story.. so if you have a gut feeling about something go with it, regardless of what a doctor tell you.. you know your child, they dont.

Are dogs playing or fighting?

I recently acquired two new dogs, one a 10 week old Labrador and a 6 month old Dachshund. I already have a year-and-a-half old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I know that dogs play with each other and will "bite" one another. When should I actually break them up? The lab is teething at the moment and likes to bite practically anything and I'm worried that she may hurt the two smaller dogs. My Spaniel is a fragile little thing and I don't want to leave them alone for an hour and come back to find her all over the floor.

How to build a platform deck ?

I want it aprox. 12X12 and in (4) sections in order to move it as needed to other areas of my yard. I don't want to use treated lumber if it's a lot more money. I'm thinking I have enough 2X4's for framing. I plan on placing the deck on cement blocks to keep framing off the ground. What board widths do you suggest and how many do I purchase? 18 month old nap times?

yeah i think shes spending too much time asleep my daughter whos now 3 stopped napping during the day after the age of 1..i would let her stay awake during the day by the time it comes to bed time in the evening then she should be much better going to sleep you would scream and shout if you were being forced to go to sleep if you think about it. hope it works out.

What i usually do to fix sticky buttons for anything is i disassemble it and clean the stickyness off of the button then assemble it back. This off course, usually happens to my game controllers.

19 month old waking up screaming?

Hi everyone. My 19 month old has always been a fantastic sleeper. He takes 1 nap during the day for about 2.5-3 hours and then sleeps 10-12 hours at night. We have bedtime routine we have followed since birth and even during teething he would always sleep well. Lately though he is waking up from his naps about 30 minutes to an hour early and just screaming! If my husband or I go in there and get him he immediately calms down. We will usually put him back down if the nap hasn't been too long and he will sometimes cry harder or sometimes he rolls over and goes back to sleep. This only happens at nap time. We've also tried not going in there thinking maybe he was just getting too used to us coming in and rocking him but that led to him screaming to the point of chugging for 20 minutes and I couldn't take it anymore and went to get him. Does anyone have any experience with this or advice? I'm hoping it's just a phase but I welcome any suggestions!

He is not dad material. He cares about you and the baby (buys things) but not enough to watch her and let you get some decompression time for yourself. And thats his choice. If you cant deal with it (and sounds like you cant) start looking for something different. Kids add a whole new complication to relationships and not everyone is able to deal with it, even if they want to. Sounds like a decent guy who just isnt ready for that level of responsibility.

Whats the best way to deal with a teething baby?

those teething stuff really don't work, i would give my son and daughter motrin (ibuprofen) and they would be fine and a frozen wet rag so they could chew on it.... and for the diarrhea give her some pedialyte, and the fussiness will go away with the motrin.

How do i get my 11 month old to sleep in the crib?

he will only sleep either on the floor with me or on the couch with me. he would do that when he was teething a couple times and now all of a sudden its the only way he sleeps. he starts out in crib, then wakes at like 1AM and then sleeps on me, but any attempt to put back in crib he just wakes right up and starts screaming again. how do i get him to sleep in there? am i supposed to let him cry it out? if so for how long? is there anything else to try?

Building a small bridge?

I plan on building a small bridge about 20 feet long over a creek that can support a car. It will hardly ever have a car on it but I want to be able to drive across it when I have to. Without getting into discussions about the existing soil conditions and permits, What I need to know is this: if I build 2 beams about 6 feet apart (where the wheels of the car would be) out of several treated 2x12s or 2x14s, how many 2x12s or 2x14s do I need to bolt together so they won't break. Don't worry, I will add lumber between the beams to finish the deck. Thanks.

2month old teething?!?

She is exclusively breastfed. She is constantly drooling, chewing on her hands, and sucks vigorously on her paci. She eats fine. Is she teething already?!

My 1 year old isn't eating so well anymore?

my son did the same thing around the time he turned one. He didn't want to eat anything, he acted like the food was poisonous or something lol. I taught him to stick his tongue out and taste, and if he didn't like it he didn't have to eat it. He ended up trying to many new foods and its been working out soo well. Sometimes they just hit a stage that they eat less. For your situation though it may just be her teeth. I use to put my sons binky in the freezer and the nipples to his bottles. It made his teeth feel so much better. The baby teeth gels they make, made my sons teeth feel weird, I'm guessing the numbness it causes and it made him more cranky. To be honest if it were me, I would keep her on her regular bottles until her teeth stop hurting. She might be cranky from adjusting to less bottles. Try the toddler formula. I had my son on that until he was almost 2. Only for sleep times though. Good luck, hope this helps.

my daughter is teething, and has her 2 bottom teeth. she has began to hold her face/head/ears and doesnt really want to eat solids just her milk...well only sometimes. and really fights to go to sleep. is this all just due to teething? if so what can i do to help her feel more comfortable, tried gel, granuals etc. i know this sound mean but she is just moaning a lot and not sleeping very well. ince she was born (now 9 months) she has slept though and been very happy. now she doest seem very happy and cant sleep properly. ????
